Requirements:
1. PhD in humanities in the discipline of linguistics received up to 7 years before the year of employment*
2. Fluent knowledge of German, Polish, and English
3. Experience in organizational work

 

*This period does not include maternity leave, a leave on the conditions parallel to maternity leave, additional maternity leave, additional adoption leave, paternity leave, parental leave, or child care leave taken according to the regulations of the labor code, or a period of receiving sickness benefit or rehabilitation benefit in relation to incapacity to work, including resulting from an illness requiring medical rehabilitation.

 

Description of tasks:
Tasks formulated in accordance with the description of the project entitled Language across generations: contact induced change in morpho-syntax in German-Polish bilingual speech (registration number 2016/23/G/HS2/04369), specifically:
- conducting field research in Poland and Germany and analysis of materials gathered,
- preparation and analysis of linguistic material for the corpus,
- disseminating research results in publications and at academic conferences,
- supporting the PI in coordinating the work of the Polish team

Conditions of employment:
- contract of employment, full-time, for a specified term (36 months)

Additional information:
The post-doc will be employed as part of a research team conducting a project entitled Language across generations: contact induced change in morpho-syntax in German-Polish bilingual speech (Registration number 2016/23/G/HS2/04369, National Science Centre call: Beethoven 2), whose Principal Investigator is professor Anna Zielińska.

** A person employed on a post-doc position employed under a contract of employment, full-time, must meet the following criteria:
a) in the period of receiving this salary he or she does not receive any salary funded by the National Science Centre
b) the PI was not the supervisor or the auxiliary supervisor of his or her PhD
c) in the period of receiving this salary he or she does not receive a salary under a contract of employment from any other employer. This applies also to employers located outside of the Republic of Poland.
