Abstract

How the soul acts as an organ of evaluation, and is subject to evaluation itself In the traditional worldview, as reflected by the vocabulary and phraseology of Russian language and dialects, the soul acts as the instance, the supreme measure of spiritual and material phenomena. The soul evaluates them both in terms of quantity and in terms of their correspondence to its taste. But the soul itself, as an expression of the deep essence of a person or its particular attachments, becomes in turn an object of evaluation. Our task is also to analyze the paradigmatic relations of the soul and organs and parts of the human body (heart, belly etc), which are mentioned in the phraseology expressing appreciation and predilection.

Душа как орган оценки и оценка души В традиционной картине мира, в той степени, в какой ее отражает лексика и фразеология русского языка и диалектов, душа выступает как начало, выступающее мерилом явлений, духовного и материального порядка. Душа оценивает людей и артефакты, но и сама душа как выражение глубинной сущности человека в свою очередь становится объектом оценки. В нашу задачу входит также анализ парадигматических отношений души и органов и частей человеческого тела (сердце, брюхо и под.), которые упоминаются во фразеологии, выражающей оценку и пристрастия.
