The article is devoted to Václav Budovec of Budov, a prominent representative of
the Czech Reformation, political and religious activist and writer, denouncing the
various important issues of his time. The main point of this article is his work
Antialkorán, published in 1614 in which Václav wants to present Islam to the Czech
reader, and on the other hand discusses various elements of Muslim doctrine. This
work was created as one of the effects of Václav Budovec s residence in Turkey with
the imperial delegation.
Artykuł poświęcony jest postaci Václava Budovca z Budova, wybitnego przedstawiciela czeskiej Reformacji, działacza politycznego i religijnego oraz pisarza, wypowiadającego się na rozmaite istotne tematy swoich czasów. Główną osią artykułu jest jego wydane w 1614 r. dzieło "Antialkorán", będące z jednej strony prezentacją islamu dla czeskiego czytelnika, z drugiej zaś dyskusją z rozmaitymi elementami doktryny muzułmańskiej. "Antialkorán" powstał jako jeden z efektów pobytu Václava Budovca w Turcji w ramach delegacji cesarskiej.
