Abstract:
Each time more interest in modern onomastics to the problems of methods and methodology is non-random and is caused by the logic of the science development itself and by those changes which it undergoes today. Regardless of that today there are directions accurately traced round, aspects of onomastic studies, the profound principals of onym studies are elaborated, it doesn’t affirm that onomastic scientists profoundly described and worked up/adapted all standards of organization of cognitive activity in their sphere, singled out the most adequate means and the most effective methods of investigated matter finishing. Till XXI century the main object of onomastic studies was anthroponyms and toponyms, throughout the last decade the repertory of onomastic investigation objects undergone essential changes, scientists deal with not only scantily explored categories of ergonyms, khrematonyms, ideonyms, but also new categories of proper names connected with the development of new technologies appear : computeronyms, internetonyms, mems names et cetera, exploring tasks concerning them, and also the subject of investigation and principals as well as means of their solving demand that scientists correct them appropriately/correspondently. Also Slavic onomastic scientists are more interested in proper names as the resource of culture reconstruction and studying the mentality of its speakers, it influences on the methods and methodology of onomastic studies as well.
