Градуальність у фразеологізмах з ономастичним компонентом

Abstract

The article analyzes the expression of the graduality category in phraseological compounds, which include the component "proper name". A number of examples of idioms in which a component is present are given, and a semantic description of such linguistic units is given. Proper names accumulate the originality of the world, preserve and transmit to the descendants the historical experience of the people, contain information about vital values, their genetic memory. Idioms that include their proper names have long attracted the attention of researchers. These units represent the brightly colored layer of the Ukrainian phraseological system, and the "proper name" component is an expression of national specificity. In recent decades, the theory of phraseology has been intensively developing. Many have been the subject of research as a component of phraseological units. Ethno-cultural aspect of functioning of onyms was elaborated in V. Zhaivoronok's research; on the dialect material onym components were analyzed by V. Uzhchenko.
