Abstract:
Phraseology with the component earth within the national language picture of the world is considered. It is emphasized that phraseological units are an ethnomarked explicators of the language images. The relationship between the semantics of the language image of earth and the meanings of phraseologisms has been established. The relation of language image, phraseologism and artistic speech is considered as an aspect of representation of the national language picture of the world. New semantic features of the language image related to the secondary (figurative) meanings of the lexemes and the actualization in phraseology are analyzed.
