Синонімні відношення у музейній термінолексиці природничого профілю

Abstract

One of the main indicator of the systematic organization of terminology in any scientific field is paradigmatic relations, including synonymic, between term units that not only indicate the corresponding concepts but also convey tiered links between them. The presence of synonymy in the natural-museum's term system is an indication that this term system is dynamic, open, actively developing and needs the further normalization. Synonyms do not meet the standards of the Ukrainian language and those that interfere with the perception of information should be eliminated. This article analyzes the peculiarities of synonymous relations in the studied term system, and the terms-synonyms at the semantic and structural-grammatical level, describes the word-forming variability.
