Abstract:
This paper addresses derivational power of geographic terms of foreign origin in modern Serbian. As a basis of the written corpus for linguistic analysis, the author used both lexicographic and non-lexicographic sources, from which he collected around 2000 terms in question.
The analysis has shown that derivational power of the terms is quite low, which is in line with other terminology systems.
