dc.description.abstract	The present article deals with the structural and semantic diversity of mass media occasionalisms which have semi-affixes in their structure. The author shows that the semi-affixes suggest the amplification of lexical units and strengthening of analytical and expressive tendencies in modern Russian and Polish. Nomination activity caused by changes in the material and cultural life generates new word-building models in accordance with the rules of analytical and expressive nomination.	en_US
