dc.description.abstract	The subject of investigation are diminutives in Russian and Polish derived from nomina abstracta. In the article a complex structural and semantic analysis of a category of subjective evaluation is carried out formal and semantic inventory of diminution, correlation between diminutive and pejorative meanings, social positions of participants of the process of communication with the aim of investigation of functioning of new diminutive nomina abstracta in texts is established and also the place they take in the derivational systems of the comparative languages.	en_US
