Pragmatički aspekti deminucije u svakodnevnoj komunikaciji (sa osvrtom na tvorbena obilježja deminutivnih imenica)

Abstract

This paper examines noun diminution and the way it is realized in daily communication, as the assembled corpus leads to interesting conclusions about the relationship between true diminutive and pragmatic meaning of the analysed nouns. Namely, when the basic distinctive parameters of size or dimension are eliminated, comprehensive pragmatic meanings of diminutive nouns are usually developed, and that is the goal of the analysis in this paper.
