Abstract:
The aim of this contribution is to compare diminutives in Slovak and German language. The introduction summarizes theoretical information on methods of creation of Slovak and German diminutives and their use. The second part analyzes the translation of German diminutives into Slovak language. Source texts will be included in their respective corpuses, which allow the comparison of texts in Slovak and German language.
