dc.description.abstract	The subject of the paper is the transmission of Bulgarian proper names into Polish. The models of transliteration and transcription existing in Poland with their peculiarities and fields of use are presented. In Bulgarian ID cards the Streamlined System (based on English) is used, however according to the author, its usage outside of administrative sphere (although practiced) is incorrect, as it violates the rules of Polish orthography and phonetics.	en_US
