O MODELU SKŁADNI SEMANTYCZNEJ W PERSPEKTYWIE OPISU LEKSYKOGRAFICZNEGO CZASOWNIKÓW (NA MATERIALE JĘZYKA BUŁGARSKIEGO I POLSKIEGO)

Abstract

The article presents the foundations of lexicographic description in compliance with contemporary linguistic knowledge in the field of semantic (explicative) syntax and demonstrates the use of that model for the systematization of dictionary descriptions of Polish and Bulgarian verbs. It is shown that the use of the model of explicative syntax requires one to adopt transparent criteria of the analysis of verbs during the creation of entries of a semantic-syntactic dictionary: such a type of description allows for a consequent, systematized, objective segmentation of the dictionary entry, i.e. singling out particular lexical meanings, establishing their hierarchy and exemplifying the potency of a given unit to create sentential phrases, or at least – their most typical forms.
