Abstract:
The paper analyses components of the “fairy” model of corporeal beauty in Serbian, as compared with Bulgarian and Russian languages, on the basis of phraseological comparison “beautiful as a fairy”. A fairy, as a projection of collective unconsciousness within the concept that has relevant qualities related to natural phenomena, retains even today an important expressive function as a standard in phraseology as well as in mythipoetic structure of a text. But in the contemporary language, the “fairy” concept retreats before language stereotypes founded on experience.
