dc.description.abstract Verbality is a characteristic feature of human consciousness. Our ability to produce speech is due to complex, multilevel, psycho-physiological system. We will look at the concept of speech from the point of view of presenting the specific features of speaking activities in language. Phraseological correlation between organs of speech and speaking activities is universal. External (lips, mouth and tongue) as well as internal (throat) human organs of speech could take part in presentation of the conceptual field: speech, speaking activities. A substantial similarity occurs at the semantics of the somatic phraseological units of the two languages. It is due to somatic components, displaying high semantic generative activity. en_US
