Abstract:
In the present report I study those animals, which are thought by the people to be pure in the context of day-to-day need of them, in the sense of belonging to their inhabited space, to the contrast with the wild animals but having the functions of some of them as a peculiar connection between both worlds - the divine and the human one. I follow and analyse the original names of the pure animals as well as the linguistic variety in their secondary nomination, which can be found in the language.
