dc.description.abstract | The education of Bulgarians in the Ottoman Empire in Bulgarian language during the 19th century is a substantial component of the Bulgarian revival together with the struggle for political autonomy. This education starts almost from zero and reaches considerable growth around the Liberation war without having any support from the side of the state. What are the intrinsic forces of this process developed entirely on the expenses of the Bulgarian population? In this paper we seek an answer to this question by means of mathematical tools, using some known statistical data from the area of education. | en_US |
