Abstract:
This article presents the entry for rakla in the fifteenth volume of the academic Dictionary of the Bulgarian Language. The complex semantic structure of this headword is analysed and its multiple meanings are explained. This serves as a background for indicating lexicographic peculiarities connected with this entry, as well as general principles for compiling an explanatory dictionary.
