dc.description.abstract Univerbation is reviewed in the present article as part of the ways for achieving linguistic economy thanks to transforming multiverbal (adequate sustainable phrases) into monoverbal linguistic units (marshrutno (routed) taxicab > marshrutka), where we use morphological devices (suffixes) while keeping source phrase’s lexical meaning. We consider the issue about the relation between univerbation and word formation, between univerbate and derivative, thus creating univerbates is defined as “specific manner” of forming lexical units bordering the actual derivation. en_US
