Abstract:
The author bases the article on selected themes of myths creation, known
from folk tales, and also found in ritual behavior and magical practices imitating
divine gesture or speaking and acting in the name of God.
The analysis of the magical formulas – uttered in the name of God – his presented
in cognitive terms by reaching pre-notional structures and constitutes

a scenario of the rites and their symbolical meaning. Such formulas – attempting
to change the state of reality by imitating the divine gesture of creation – are
subject to strict rules, communicated by verbal orders and based upon the representation
of the preschemata of FORCE, and in particular, of its BLOCKADE,
ATTRACTION and INTENSITY models.
The author introduces ritual scenes inspired by the divine act of creation: the
ritual of first sowing, protective practices against the spread of fire, magical practices
against storms hailstones and magic healing practices. The intention of behavior
evoking the divine gesture is to gain access to the power of the sacred in
order to set in motion a solicited change, a blessing or successful healing and
protection efforts. The principle of the axiological charge of those magical practices
is the belief which they serve in order to protect human life, being in unison
with the divine order. That is why the framework for relations with the sacred is
constructed upon the imagining pattern of FORCE, BELONGING and COMPULSION.
