Abstract:
The article is devoted to non-suffixional techniques of univerbation. In the introduction the author explains how the term univerbation is understood in the linguistic literature. Next, she proposes her own perception of this term and phenomena. In the main part of the paper the researcher sequentially describes all of the non-suffixional ways of univerbation. They are as follow: cutting of derivational morpheme, compound, substantivation. The writer illustrates her considerations using the examples both from contemporary Polish and former development stages of that language.
