Abstract:
The paper discusses the characteristic features of NATO English as a special type of ESP (English for Specific Purposes) with an application of the constructivist approach. It includes a systematization of the most typical NATO English language use situations, which are summarized from Bulgarian peacekeepers’ responses in a questionnaire. Both theoretical and practical approaches to analyzing NATO English are applied in the research.
