dc.description.abstract |
The article discusses the uses of some Slavonic translated denominations of Byzantine prototype words for loan, deposit and interest in several medieval sources of the Civil Law literature, as the Ecloga, the Proheiros nomos, and the Old Testament Law collection Nomos Mosaicos. The aim is to prove how the universal validity of the Law as a system preserving the human individuals and their rights presupposes the stable terminological account having survived from the Medieval Ages to the Modern times on the level of both the Bulgarian literary language and its dialects. |
