Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to bring into focus some of the major outgrowths of linguoculturology that have been developing in recent years and to open up a discussion of their nature and status within the framework of, and in relation to, the mother discipline. Given the current amount of information available, the present outline cannot claim to be definitive or final and should be considered as a work in progress.
