Call for Papers: „Adeptus”, vol. 23 (2026)

Topic: Slavic Written Culture

The editorial board of the journal “Adeptus” invites submissions for its 23rd issue, devoted to the broadly understood written culture of the Slavs—from the oldest to the present day. The issue is addressed to early-career scholars.

The editors welcome submissions concerning, among other topics, literary studies, analysis of legal language, issues related to plain language, research on vernaculars and dialects, belles-lettres, the language of the internet, and the relationships between Slavic languages and artificial intelligence. The issue is characterized by openness and interdisciplinarity. The topics listed above are exemplary and do not exhaust all possible article proposals related to the written culture of the Slavs. More information is available here:

The editorial board accepts articles written in Polish or English.

The deadline for sending texts via the journal platform of the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences is 15 April 2026 (Wednesday).
